MANILA, Philippines — Moses Manalili is expected to go all out in a bid to seal another championship for Letran as the Squires battle the University of Perpetual Help Junior Altas today in Game 2 of the NCAA Season 99 junior basketball finals at the Filoil EcoOil Arena.

Manalili came through with a magnificent 35-point outing in a 97-80 rout of the Junior Altas in Game One of the best-of-three series last Saturday.

“Ine-expect po namin mahirap, pero susubukin po namin,” said Manalili of their desire to deliver the kill in Game 2 set at 2:30 p.m.

Manalili and his teammates are eyeing a title repeat and a 14th overall crown for the Squires – the third most in the league behind San Beda’s 23 and Mapua’s 20.

“We just have to stay composed,” said Letran coach Allen Ricardo.

The Junior Altas intend to force a decider, hoping to summon the same fire and passion shown in topping the elims.
