MANILA, Philippines – Moonton Games, in partnership with the country's Department of Tourism (DOT), has officially announced the venues and ticket information for the coming M5 World Championships happening in the country this December.

The country's hosting of the world championships of Mobile Legends Bang Bang will see two venues — the EVM Convention Center in Quezon City for the group stages and Phase 1 of the knockout rounds from December 2-12; while the rest of the tournament will take place at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum in Manila from December 15-17.

Early bird ticket sales started Wednesday, October 25, while regular ticket sales will begin on November 4. Tickets will have two types of bundles: the PH Super Pass, which lets Filipinos enjoy all the matches of the Philippine teams, and comes with a limited edition hoodie; while the MVP Pass will give fans a chance to purchase tickets on a per-match basis and can receive different M5 merchandise.

The PH Super Pass is at a fixed price of P2,899, while the MVP Pass ranges from P500 for the group stages to P3,199 for the grand finals.

"Considering that esports is one of the portfolios we want to develop in sports tourism, the Department of Tourism is excited and proud as we embark in this collaboration as we continue to make waves in the fields of esports and tourism. We have pushed to embrace esports as an integral part of our tourism landscape and it is our goal in the Department of Tourism that through Mobile Legends Bang Bang, we will be able to capture the hearts of fans and players alike in loving our country and seeing the beautiful destinations that they can experience as they come to the Philippines. We express our heartfelt gratitude to Moonton Games for making M5 a reality and for choosing the Philippines as the venue," said Atty. Mae Elaine Bathan, DOT Undersecretary for Legal and Special Concerns.

The DOT will also offer tour packages for players and foreign fans flying in to watch the M5, which could also be an opportunity for them to see the beauty of the country. These tour packages may be availed before or after the tournament proper, while the players will get a tour of Intramuros during their stay in the country.

This isn't the first time the Philippines hosted an international Mobile Legends Bang Bang tournament. In 2019, the country staged that year's version of the then Mobile Legends Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, as well as the first ever Southeast Asian Games esports event with Mobile Legends Bang as one of the events at the San Juan Arena.
