COPA, Speedo boost swimming

MANILA, Philippines — The Congress of Philippine Aquatics, Inc. (COPA) and the world’s leading swimming apparel Speedo have entered into a partnership to boost Philippine swimming.

The main goal is to strengthen swimming programs all over the country.

“This is just the start. I’m sure mabubuhay ang swimming lalo na sa mga probinsya,” said COPA president and Batangas 1st District Rep. Eric Buhain.

“COPA as I see it has the most credible grassroots sports program. Speedo has been around for 34 years and we’re focusing also on grassroots development which is very similar with COPA’s advocacy,” said Speedo Philippines vice president for operations Manish Mahtani.
