UAAP Cheerdance unfolds today

MANILA, Philippines — Reigning champion Far Eastern U Cheering Squad goes for a repeat while National U Pep Squad seeks redemption as the UAAP Season 85 stages the explosive Cheerdance Competition today at the Mall of Asia Arena serving as a prelude to the gigantic basketball finals tomorrow.

After rocking and rolling its way to its first UAAP CDC title after 13 years last summer, FEU vowed to leave no stone unturned in a back-to-back bid with the Filipino hip-hop music of Francis Magalona as its theme.

The cheerdance competition rolls the red carpet for the basketball finals in the women’s side featuring NU and La Salle, and the men’s starring Katipunan rivals UP and Ateneo.
