The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — Filipino junior golf champion Lucas de Guzman heads the five-strong Junior Golf Foundation of the Philippines (JGFP) team that will see action in the Thailand Golf Association (TGA) Junior World Championship starting today at the Prime City Golf Club in Nakhon Nayok, Thailand.

As a five-year-old campaigner, De Guzman, son of popular social media personality Lue and former Philippine football team training pool member Rommel, has been dominating the six-under category in JGFP-sanctioned tournaments.

Also expected to do well in the tournament is Stephanie Gaisano Gan, daughter of current JGFP president Oliver Gan who will see action in the six-under girls.

Other members of the JGFP Philippine Team are Maria Brianna Macasaet (7-8 girls), Kamila del Mundo (six-under girls) and Halo Virgil Pangilinan (six-under-boys).
