F2 beefs up roster for PVL comeback
MANILA, Philippines — F2 Logistics revved up for its Premier Volleyball League (PVL) return by plucking collegiate standout Ivy Lacsina from National University.
The Cargo Movers recently added the 22-year-old middle blocker to their already loaded roster in time for the season-ending PVL Reinforced Conference set to unfurl on Oct. 8 at the PhilSports Arena.
Lacsina, who was part of the NU team that pulled off a historic UAAP title sweep in Season 84, will compete for minutes against grizzled veterans Aby Maraño and Majoy Baron up front.
The Ramil de Jesus-mentored side boasts of a stacked lineup that also includes Ara Galang, Dzi Gervacio, Kim Fajardo, Dawn Macandili, Kim Dy, Shola Alvarez and Iris Tolenada among others.
In the franchise’s PVL debut in the Open Conference early this year, it wound up sixth then skipped in the Invitational due to schedule woes of their coaching staff.
Now the Cargo Movers are back and motivated to finish stronger.
