Maroons, Bulldogs stay hot

MANILA, Philippines — Carl Tamayo logged 19 points and six rebounds as University of the Philippines rolled to its fourth straight win in Group A with a 72-56 thumping of Far Eastern University in the PG Flex Linoleum UCBL Preseason tournament Tuesday at the SGS Gym in Quezon City.

In Group B, National U also chalked up a fourth successive triumph with an 87-59 rout of Lyceum. In the other games, Perpetual Help crushed Adamson, 74-56, and Emilio Aguinaldo College outlasted Olivarez College, 76-73, to book quarters passage.
