Stajcic renews commitment with lady booters

MANILA, Philippines — Australian coach Alen Stajcic is excited to continue the journey with the Philippines all the way to next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

Stajcic, along with his assistant coach Nahuel Arrarte and conditioning coach Luca Tonetti, signed a fresh contract following the Filipinas’ historic semifinal stint in the AFC Women’s Asian Cup in India last January and WWC qualification.

“I’m extremely excited to help lead the team in the next chapter as we head for the pinnacle of our sport,” said Stajcic, who renewed his commitment with the Philippines in a meeting in Sydney with team manager Jefferson Cheng.
