MANILA, Philippines — The country's esports squad Team SIBOL has opened registration for the remaining esports titles to be featured in the upcoming Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam — Arena of Valor, Garena Free Fire, FIFA ONLINE 4, and League of Legends PC.
Resharing the announcement via their Facebook page, the Philippine Esports Organization (PESO) reaffirms their previous plans of competing in all events in the upcoming games stating.
"We want to inform the public that we, the Philippine Esports Organization, intend to support these esports titles that will be part of the national esports program," it said.
Of the four titles open for registration, only Arena of Valor was featured during the 2019 Southeast Asian Games and was one of two events in which the Philippines did not finish in the top three (Sinol finished third in its group, falling to eventual gold medalist Thailand).
The deadline for registrations for Arena of Valor, Garena Free Fire, FIFA Online 4, and League of Legends PC will close on February 5. Links to each game's registration form may be found in the comments section of Team Sibol’s Facebook post here.
