Yuka lands in 48th place

MANILA, Philippines — Yuka Saso limped home with another 73 to place a disappointing 48th in the CME Group Tour Championship last Sunday in Naples, Florida.

Starting in the back nine, the Fil-Japanese star bogeyed three of her first 12 holes then ended with birdies on Nos. 4 and 8 to wind up at 3-under 285 for the tournament.

The 20-year-old Saso finished 20 strokes off the winning 23-under 265 of back-to-back champion Ko Jin-Young of Korea.
