MANILA, Philippines — The plan is set for the return of NCAA basketball and volleyball in February next year after a two-year lull.
“We’ve agreed on the level of the management committee, but still we need the approval from the policy board,” said incoming league management committee chairman Dax Castellano of Season 97 host College of St. Benilde yesterday.
Aside from basketball and volleyball, Castellano said they would also hold online events similar to what the league presented during the hosting of Letran this season.
The decision came after the league solidified its vaccination program for its student athletes.
The league, in fact, has conducted jab sessions at the Jose Rizal University campus in Mandaluyong City.
Fr. Vic Calvo of Letran said some 100 NCAA student-athletes took part in the vaccination program.
