MANILA, Philippines — Filipina golfers Bianca Pagdanganan and Dottie Ardina hope to ride the momentum of Yuka Saso’s historic feat when they return to LPGA action.
Pagdanganan and Ardina will compete in the $1.5 million LPGA Mediheal Championship beginning today in Daly City, hot on the heels of Saso’s triumphant campaign in the US Women’s Open in San Francisco last Sunday.
Ardina, 27, launches her bid at hole No. 1 in the par-72 Lake Merced Golf Club in the 7:37 a.m. flight with Julieta Granada and Linnea Strom.
