MANILA, Philippines — “The Rocket” won’t be soaring in the PBA anymore.
High-flying wingman JC Intal of Phoenix Super LPG has decided to retire after 13 years in the pro league.
“It is a bittersweet feeling for me to say goodbye to the game that has been a huge part of my life, but I am moving forward feeling happy and proud knowing I made the most of the privilege to play basketball professionally,” he announced on his social media account.
Intal, 37, joined the PBA in 2007 after getting picked fourth overall by Air21. After the Express, he had stints with Barako Bull, Barangay Ginebra, B-Meg/San Mig Coffee and back at Barako Bull.
