MANILA, Philippines — Filipina tennis pride Alex Eala hammered out a lopsided 6-0, 6-2 win over hometown foe Ana Lantigua dela Nuez to kickstart her bid for a second pro-career title with flying colors in Mallorca, Spain yesterday.

The ITF Juniors No. 3 rode the momentum of a dominant opening round shutout over the No. 52 Spanish bet to advance to the second round of the W15 Manacor ITF final leg hosted by the Rafael Nadal Academy.
