‘Big Event’ derby Friday
MANILA, Philippines — The series of “Big Event” derbies at the Pasay City Cockpit returns via the RCB Basilan 5-Cock derby on Friday with 40 entries and 100 fights on the list.
Ronald Barandino of Basilan, World Slasher Cup champion in 2012, will host the special event backed by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000.
The long list of hopefuls include Manny Berbano, Doc Ayong Lorenzo, Ronald Lazatin, Rey Cabial, Rep. Jose Panganiban, lawyer Henry Tubban, Mapher Alvarez, RTB Apo Kulas, Jayson Gatan, Jopher Severino, Michael Tiqui, Jomar Baligod;
JC Palanca, Jocel Baac, Rene Natividad, Felix Geronimo, Kano Daniel, James Siason, Zaldy Mabini, Jonjon Cano, Paolo Crisostomo, RR Lacson, Mayor Amben Amante, Derrick Ledesma, Ferdinand Uy and Ferdinand Reyes.
The Danayah Shane 5-Cock derby with P1 million at stake comes next at the Pasay City Cockpit on March 20 with engineer Andy Rizal of the National Cockers Alliance (NCA) as host.
PCC pit manager Gerald Go and Team Rox Las Pinas will then team up for another 5-cock derby on March 27.
