Hope Christian turns back Martires Academy

MANILA, Philippines — Hope Christian High School came back to defeat Martires Academy, 71-64, in the 13-under division of the Milcu Got Skills Hard to Guard at the Lourdes School of Mandaluyong Gym.

Theo Dy had 24 points and 18 rebounds as Hope Christian won despite trailing by 11 points early in the contest of the interschool cage tournament sponsored by Milcu.

Kings’ Montessori School, meanwhile, rolled past Lourdes School of Mandaluyong, 85-52, in the 14-under division.

Zoren Estriba led the way for Kings’ Montessori with 18 points, five rebounds, four assists and eight steals.
