NCA holds blockbuster derby

MANILA, Philippines — The National Cockers Alliance will stage a blockbuster derby to be hosted by Gov. Claude Bautista, Jun Bacolod, Dante Eslabon and Raymond Palomares on Tuesday at the Ynares Sports Arena.

After the successful World Championship Derby, the NCA has once again assured quality fights in the derby that attracted the top sportsmen cockers and breeders all over the country.

In the last NCA derby, GE JIMAFER BG triumphed with eight points, followed by J.U Money Maker Win as One, AOM, Jrs-San Pioquinto with seven points, Firefly, April 18 Manila Arena 7-Cock with six points, Ahluck Camsur Jam-Sb, CPB DVO Tigers, VRV San Rafael with 5 1/2 points and Royce Hotel and Casino 1 with five points.

Gov. Ito  Ynares Jr. of the NCA said derby rules and regulations that cover all aspects of cockfighting will be strictly enforced, thereby ensuring the implementation of its policies on fairness, honesty, sportsmanship, camaraderie and transparency.

The next NCA derby will be on Feb. 4 to be hosted by Paul Dy, Joseph Panganiban, Albert Dichavez and Santa Ursula/Highlander.
