MANILA, Philippines — A three-cornered battle among Metro Manila, Bulacan and Laguna cockers takes centerstage at the Pasay City Cockpit as its regular Friday event unfolds today via the Frankie and Friends 5-Stag Derby.
Some 30 participants will vie for the championship, led by Tony Antonio, co -champion in last week’s SC Man Dupax 5-Stag Derby and grand finalist with seven points in the upcoming Bakbakan 12-Stag Derby grand finals.
Supported by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000, today’s derby with more than 70 fights has a guaranteed prize expected to reach P500,000.
This one-day showdown is supported by PCC pit manager Gerald Go, EMB group and Jerald Picazo.
The PFGB Digmaan 11-Stag National Derby returns at Pasay Cockpit Monday, with another 3-stag elims headed by the Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA).
