CEU, Olivares triumph

MANILA, Philippines – Centro Escolar rolled to an 82-57 win over PCU-Dasmariñas while Olivarez College topped TIP, 81-72, to close out its first-round campaign in the PG Flex Linoleum-UCBL yesterday at the Olivarez College gym in Parañaque City.

The CEU Scorpions used a fiery start to notch their fourth win in six-games with 6-foot-7 center Maodo Diouf delivering 25 points and 14 rebounds.

Meantime, the Olivarez Sea Lions used a big second quarter to beat the Engineers for a 5-2 mark.
