Alaska ships Cruz to Blackwater for Tratter
MANILA, Philippines – Carl Bryan Cruz has been traded by the Alaska Aces to the Blackwater Elite ahead of the PBA Governor's Cup, the PBA announced on Friday.
The trade, formally signed by PBA commissioner Willie Marcial, sent Cruz to the Elite in exchange for rookie big man Abu Tratter.

The Aces are undergoing a rebuild after former head coach Alex Compton resigned from his post two weeks ago.
Cruz averaged 5.36 points and 2.64 rebounds in his last conference with the Aces.
Meanwhile, Tratter had 3.89 points and 2.11 rebounds per game for the Elite.
The Governor's Cup will kick off late September.
