TNT's Terrence Jones calls for PBA sanction on Arwind Santos after racist move
MANILA, Philippines — TNT KaTropa import Terrence Jones did not hold back in making his sentiments known after San Miguel Beermen forward Arwind Santos made monkey gestures at him during Game Five of the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals on Wednesday.
Taking to his Twitter account, the former Houston Rockets player reacted strongly and called for immediate action from the PBA.
As a father & black man this can’t be ignored. It’s UNACCEPTABLE. Swift, significant action needs to be taken by the PBA to send a STRONG message that racism in ANY form will NOT be tolerated.”@espn @Sports5PH @NBAonESPNRadio @NBAOfficial @SI_PHnews @KentuckyMBB @CNN @cnnsport https://t.co/Np6iCvc54I

"Swift, significant action needs to be taken by the PBA to send a STRONG message that racism in ANY form will NOT be tolerated," he added.
Santos made the gesture on the bench late in the first half when the TNT import was whistled for a foul.
TNT manager Gabby Cui also aired his thoughts on the incident.
Racism should never have a place in sports and in life. Even via " jokes or mind games "It's sad that Arwind, who has so much experience and championships, will have to resort to that. He should know better and look at his own teammates before doing those actions..

Santos refused to apologize after the game and had insisted he was doing it to get into his opponent's head.
Santos has since been summoned by the PBA but the penalty, should there be one, has yet to be determined.
