MANILA, Philippines — After a decade-long absence, DLSU legend Manilla Santos-Ng is back to playing volleyball.

Donning a different jersey, this time for the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, Santos-Ng returned to competitive volleyball at the FilOil Flying V Centre — the same venue of her final game with the Lady Spikers way back in 2009.

"Same venue 10 years ago. It feels so good to be back," Santos-Ng said after their win over BaliPure.

"I really can't believe na makapaglaro ako. I was given this opportunty to play again. [I'm] super happy," she said.

Though she saw limited playing time for the Flying Titans in their PVL debut, the Lady Spiker legend racked up two points from the service line for her new squad in the first set.

With the conference just getting started, there's certainly a lot of time for Santos-Ng to get back to her vintage form.

"Nasa 7 or 8, we're working on it and hopefully makahabol pa," Santos-Ng said on her performance on a scale of 1-10.

Santos-Ng will have the chance to show off her veteran mettle once again when the Flying Titans face PacificTown Army on Wednesday.
