MANILA, Philippines — Competition in the Luzon Breeders Cup (LBC) 9-Stag Derby series, with a guaranteed prize expected to exceed P10 million, resumes in three venues today.
In Metro Manila, the 2-stag elims fires off at Pasay City Cockpit with more the 60 participants bannered by cockfight idol Patrick Antonio who will field four entries.
The LBC series backed by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000 has so far attracted 398 entries alone at PCC and will have one more round (set C) on Aug. 19 and 23.
In Quezon province, members of the Quezon Breeders Club (QBC) led by Honey Yu and Kaka Laborte compete at the Lucena Cockpit Arena. Cavite cockers, led by Doc Nino Mabanta, vie at the Manila Cockers Cub (MCC) in Carmona, Cavite.
Competiton resumes tomorrow at Dragon Cockpit Arena (Mindoro), Texas Cockpit Arena (Marikina) and Manila Cockers Club (Cavite).
