Las Piñas hosts stagfests
MANILA, Philippines — A series of four stagfests will unfold at the Las Piñas Coliseum beginning with the BNTV Cup 9-Stag Derby featuring more than 100 fights on Aug. 29.
To be hosted by Joey Sy, the BNTV 4-stag final round is for participants mostly from Cavite with scores of 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5 and 4 points.
The FIGBA Early Bird Bakbakan 9-Stag Derby finals comes next on Aug. 31 for members of Cavite Las Piñas Gamefowl Breeders Association (CLPGBA).
Gerry Ramos’ annual Big Event 6-Stag Derby unwraps on Sept. 7 with 150 fights.
The highly-awaited LPC 30th Anniversary 5-Stag Derby of Mayor Nene Aguilar fires off on Sept. 10 and 12 (two-stag elims) and Sept. 15 (three-stag finals).
The accepted wingbands: locally-banded stags of International Federation of Gamefowl Breeders (FIGBA -Bakbakan) and Pambansang Federation Ng Gamefowl Breeders, Inc. (PFGB,Inc-Digmaan) with weight limits of 1.7 kgs. to 2.150 kgs.
