Strong field in Pasay derby

MANILA, Philippines — A big field of Metro Manila and provincial cockers will vie for the championship in the Jerald and Erica Four-Cock Derby on Friday at the Pasay City Cockpit.

PCC operations manager Erica Clemente and Jerald Picazo, with Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000 as main sponsors, host the event with a guaranteed prize of P400,000.

Forty to 50 participants from venues like San Juan Coliseum, Roligon, La Loma Cockpit, Sta. Monica Cockpit, Elorde Stadium, Las Pinas Coliseum and gamefowl breeders from Laguna, Batangas and Rizal are expected to compete.
