Ateneo’s sights set on incentive

MANILA, Philippines — Ateneo aims for redemption while four-peat seeking La Salle guns for a repeat as the arch rivals collide to determine their Final Four fates in the UAAP season 81 women’s volleyball at the Smart Araneta Coliseum today.

The Lady Eagles are the first team through to the post-season after collecting their 10th straight win and are now setting their sights on the top seeding and the twice-to-beat semis incentive against the sole team that defeated them so far this season – the Lady Spikers.

They clash at 4 p.m., with ADMU eager to avenge its 14-25, 17-25, 25-16, 19-25 opening game loss to DLSU last Feb. 17.

Ousted teams Adamson and University of the East battle at 2 p.m.

“We’ve learned how to play better as a team. We’ve got rid of those first game jitters. I think from the first game to now, our team has improved so much so I expect a good game. We will just give it our all and show how much we have improved these past few games,” said ADMU’s Kat Tolentino, the team’s top scorer.
