LGBA bullstag derby in Pasay Friday night
MANILA, Philippines — A double treat awaits cockfight aficionados at Pasay City Cockpit with the staging of the Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) Five-Bullstag Derby today.
Aside from the one-on-one duel of North and South Luzon gamefowl breeders, today’s third leg of the LGBA series will determine winners of the 2019 LGBA Cocker of the Year series.
Cash prizes and trophies from Sagupaan Agricultural Products, Inc. are at stake for team champion, individual champions and the 2019 LGBA Cocker of the Year top 10 winners.
After today’s event, the LGBA will prepare for the LBC Cup Nine-Stag Derby, according to LGBA president Nick Crisostomo.
Meanwhile, 90 to 100 fights are expected on Monday at PCC via the Laguna Gamefowl Breeders Association (Lagba) Four-Cock Derby.
A cash prize of P500,000 is at stake for an entry fee of P11,000.
