15 teams do battle in ‘Building Bridges 2’

MANILA, Philippines — Fifteen teams, with six members each, brace for battle in the Building Bridges 6-Bullstag Derby Part 2 which starts tomorrow at Pasay City Cockpit.

Ninety entries (135 fights) are listed in the 3-bullstag elims supported by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000, said presidents Nick Crisostomo of Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) and Rey Directo of Rizal Gamecock Breeders Association (RGBA).

The same number of participants will compete in the grand finals on April 5 (3-bullstag) since a separate prize of P600,000 is alloted for team champion.

The other teams: Kapampangan Gamefowl Breeders Association, La Union Breeders and Cockers Club, Quezon Breeders Club, United Manila Cavite GBA, Tarlac group of Rep. Vic Yap, Sagupaan, Excellence, Experto, King Slasher, Thor, Bulacan Breeders Club, Mad Science and Black Rooster.

UMCGBA, headed by Doc Ted Macadagdag, won the individual and team championship of ‘Building Bridges 1’ held last year at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Meanwhile, preparations are also underway for the LGBA Wingbanding Team 4-Cock Derby at PCC on April 8.
