MANILA, Philippines — LeBron James may have been absent for Chris Bosh's jersey retirement, but the King certainly didn't forget to honor his former teammate.
Dubbed as the "Big Three" along with Dwayne Wade, James and Bosh spent four years together in Miami. The short but sweet run included back-to-back NBA championships that gave James his first taste of the coveted league title.
Five years after his departure from Miami, James has nothing but love and support for the former Miami big man.
Congratulating Bosh through Instagram, the three-time NBA champion didn't come short on praises.
"I don't win my championships in Miami without him... without you," James said.
"He's just the true definition of what a professional is all about... it was never about him, it was always about the team," the Lakers superstar continued.
Bosh was honored in Miami Tuesday night (Wednesday morning Manila Time), during their home game against the Orlando Magic.

Bosh was a significant part of Miami's success when he was healthy. But health issues cut his career short.
Despite this, Bosh has a good case to be a future Hall of Famer.
