Kai Sotto leaving Philippines to train, eyes NBA

MANILA, Philippines – Basketball prodigy Kai Sotto on Monday announced he is leaving the country “soon” to train, his sights set on joining the NBA in two to three years.

The 16-year-old Sotto finished his high school career with the Ateneo Blue Eaglets, who ended up as runner-ups in the recent UAAP juniors basketball tournament after losing to NU.
