MANILA, Philippines -- It seems like Spurs fans don't just miss Manu Ginobili for his basketball skills.

Chants of "Manu" filled the AT&T Center after bats took over the court during San Antonio's game against the Brooklyn Nets Thursday night (Friday Manila Time). Officials stopped the game momentarily during the first quarter to deal with the creatures.

Fans were obviously reminiscing the last time this happened inside the arena (curiously, bats interrupting the game aren't new for the Spurs). In a game against the Sacramento Kings back in October 31, 2009, Ginobili swatted a bat in mid-air and nonchalantly picked it off the ground. He then gave the flightless bat to a staff member for disposal.

It looks like the Spurs miss Ginobili's bat-catching skills almost as much as the Argentine star's famed euro step.

Maybe we should light the "Bat-Manu" signal and lure the 41-year-old legend out of retirement.
