MANILA, Philippines — The 11th Invitational of Summit Point Golf and Country Club gets going today with the club ready to host close to 400 players in its beautiful and well-kept World 18-concept layout in Lipa City.

The field, the biggest number so far in the Invitational, vies for division honors and the Peugeot 308 1.6 Petrol (Auto-X Group) and Toyota Wigo 1.0G A/T (Toyota Calamba) for hole in one at stake.

“Everything is all set. We can’t wait to get the Invitational going,” said SPGCC general manager Vic de Guzman, noting that club president Robbie Leviste would be among those participating.

Other items awaiting hole-in-one winners are the trip to Mission Hills China with airfare from Golf Phl, Premium Shafts (Mitsubishi Chemical), Texas Eagle cart (Turf Co.), golf cart (Yamaha), 100k cash (New Canaan), Cobra F7 set (J-Ten Sports) and 20k merchandise (K&G).

At the grand raffle of the four-day event sponsored by KIGA Sports, VMJ Evergreen, PPPoker, Auster Catering and J-Ten Sports, a 2018 Toyota Vios 1.3J M/T and a Wigo 1.0E M/T will be given away as premier prizes to the lucky two-man team.

Gold sponsors include K&G, Pepsi/Gatorade, Resorts World Manila/Emperador, Golf PH/Mission Hills, Batangas Maharlika Golfers and Sta. Lucia Land while Gerry’s Grill, Lemans and Summit Point Realty are silver sponsors.
