AFP out to extend romp vs GSIS

MANILA, Philippines — Two-time champion Armed Forces of the Philippines looks to extend its winning streak to four games when it battles GSIS tomorrow even as Judiciary goes for its first win in the seventh UNTV Cup at the Pasig Sports Center.

Bannered by former Letran star Boyet Bautista, Jerry Lumongsod, Jeffrey Quiambao and Darwin Cordero, the AFP Cavaliers are heavily favored over the GSIS in their 5 p.m. duel in Group A.

For the Furies to improve their 1-3 record, they should contain the wily Bautista, who has already piled up 58 points and 11 assists in three games in the event organized by UNTV president and CEO Daniel Razon.
