Elorde grandson KOs Thai foe in Pacquiao vs Matthysse undercard

KUALA LUMPUR – Juan Miguel Elorde, grandson of boxing great Gabriel “Flash” Elorde, made quick work of Ratchanon Sawangsoda, knocking the Thai fighter thrice in the third round en route to a TKO win Sunday in  the undercard of the Manny Pacquiao-Lucas Matthysse bout.

Elorde, who sports a record of 26-1, with 14 KOs, impressed with his punching power and dominated the hapless Sawangsoda, drilling the Thai with a huge overhand right to put him out for good.

Sawangsoda, who interestingly has won only by knockout, dropped to 12-3.
