MANILA, Philippines — Derby action at the Pasay City Cockpit resumes tomorrow with the Rey San Luis four-cocker with more than 40 entries slugging it out for top honors.

Tony Lasala, co-champion of the 2016 Digmaan 11-stag derby and member of Batangas Breeders Club, will host the event, backed by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000, with the San Luis group.

Entry fee is pegged at P16,500 with deadline set at 9 p.m. on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association, based exclusively at the Pasay cockpit, will award the prizes for the 2018 Cocker of the Year on Saturday at Gloria Maris in San Juan.

Jimmy Zapanta of Laguna (Jet Boggs) won this year’s COTY award, according to LGBA president Nick Crisostomo.
