Seniors golf third leg up at Summit

MANILA, Philippines — The Federation of Philippine Amateur Senior Golfers, Inc. stages the third leg of its golf series tomorrow with another big field seeing action at the Summit Point Golf and Country Club in Lipa City, Batangas.

Hosted by the Summit Point Seniors Organization, the event will have a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. with 250 players clashing for top honors in various divisions.

Valley Golf’s Romy Avila led the winners in the second leg at Veterans Golf Club last month, bagging the overall low gross crown with David Paliwoda of Pradera Verde claiming the overall low net title.

Other winners were Joe Cortina of Veterans and Jess Osmeña of Aguinaldo (Group I), Intramuros Ricardo Loyoa and Rudy Alcantara, also of Veterans (Group II), Pol Garcia and Edwin Yutuc (Group III).
