NCA world derby semis under way

MANILA, Philippines — Action heats up in the National Cockers Alliance World Championship Derby with the holding of the semifinal round today at the Ynares Sports Center in Pasig.

Clashing for berths in the championship are aces from the Ultimate Fighting Cock Championship (UFCC) and a slew of invited guests from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Additional entries in the second day will include the winning lines of Arman Santos, Jun Topacio and Sonny Lagon, among others.

Meanwhile, Santos, Ricky Magtoto, Eric Dela Rosa, Edwin Tose and Gov. Claude Bautista emerged as the leading entries for the Cocker of the Year honors.
