MANILA, Philippines — Ceres Negros FC seeks to clinch a return trip to the AFC Cup Asean Zone finals as it battles Myanmar side Yangon United in the second leg of the zonal semis today under hot condition in the Burmese capital.
The Busmen won the first leg of their semis series over in Bacolod, 4-2, and can secure the tie with a draw in the 3:30 p.m. outing at Thuwunna Stadium, where the temperature is expected to reach 36 degrees with a heat index of 41 degrees.
“The condition is very disadvantageous for us but we will do our best to win,” said Ceres coach Risto Vidakovic.
