Big fights slated at Pasay Friday
MANILA, Philippines — Pasay City Cockpit’s series of blockbuster events resumes on Friday with the staging of the Erica and Friends four-cock derby featuring aces from the top breeders in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
Entry fee in the event, hosted by PCC operations manager Erica Clemente and sponsored by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000, is pegged at P8,800 with a minimum bet of P5,500.
Pasay Cockpit has staged 80, 146 and 94 fights, respectively, the last three weeks with another top card slated.
Meanwhile, Dado Mitra of Palawan (Panaginip) scored four points to emerge solo champion in the Anito four-cock derby last Friday.
Mitra won the champion’s prize of P350,000 plus P30,000 for his handler and P20,000 for the gaffer.
