Nelson Uy - Dong Chung out to keep LGBA derby run

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — Nelson Uy and partner Dong Chung of Cagayan Valley head the 50 finalists in the Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association seven-bullstag derby today at the Pasay City Cockpit.

After topping LGBA circuit’s first leg derby, Uy and Chung scored three more victories last March 16 to stretch their unbeaten run to 10.

But they expect a tough outing with their aces in today’s four-bullstag finale, backed by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000, featuring 100 fights.

Out to foil their bid are 2018 World Slasher Cup 1 runner-up Cris Sioson, Arnold dela Cruz, Jet Fernando, Carlos Tumpalan, Arman Santos, Rey Tolentino, Eric Abella, Jimmy Zapanta, Mark Calixto, Allan Cantal, Gov. Jayjay Suarez, Rick Tamboong, Hector Magpantay and BP Super Kings.
