WATCH: Fil-Am Jalen Green posterizes 7-foot-1 Kai Sotto
MANILA, Philippines — It was just a matter of time until Kai Sotto gets a dose of his own medicine.
Always at the better end of contact dunks, the 7-foot-1 Ateneo de Manila High School star was put in a poster by Filipino-American Jalen Green during Friday’s National Basketball Training Center Division 1 All-Star Game at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Green, the top-ranked high school sophomore in the United States, caught the Philippines’ “23 for ’23” pool member during the third frame of the game. The former traces his Filipino roots via his mother.

Sotto may have been dealt with an L when it comes to highlight reels in the showcase but his crew — dubbed Team Hustle — went on to post a 99-91 win over Green and Team Heart.
The All-Star game serves as a break to the weeklong skirmishes that heavily borrow from the ongoing US NCAA basketball tournament “March Madness.”
The tournament, which features teams from New Zealand and Canada among others, will continue up this afternoon.
