MANILA, Philippines – American singer Fergie gained notoriety for her slow rendition of the US national anthem before the start of the 2018 NBA All-Star Game at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Monday.
Fergie’s unorthodox version of the Star-Spangled banner was critically panned on social media, with Twitter overflowing with posts that even included the reactions of the NBA stars’ themselves.
