MANILA, Philippines — The transfer talk surrounding De La Salle University head coach Aldin Ayo took another turn Wednesday.
According to a report by the Tie Breaker Times, the two-time collegiate champion mentor has reportedly parted ways with the school and decided to pursue the coaching vacancy at the University of Santo Tomas. (LINK)
A Philstar.com source within the La Salle camp begged off to comment on the situation.
Minutes after the first dispatch on Ayo made the rounds on social media, The Varsitarian, UST's official student publication, reported that the tactician is currently in talks with the supporters of the Growling Tigers basketball program.

Earlier this month, Ayo, who maintained that he is optimistic of the Green Archers' rebuilding phase and comeback bid in UAAP Season 81, made it clear that nothing is definite regarding a third year coaching stint with La Salle.
In the same interview, he shared that he has a lot of people he owe who comes from UST.
Weeks later, the De La Salle management, through a statement, announced their full support of Ayo's plans of rebuilding.
Ayo's alleged move, should there be any truth to it, will be the latest departure in the Green Archers' camp. Fil-foreign cager Abu Tratter has reached his maximum playing years in the league; while two-time league MVP Ben Mbala, hounded with uncertainty over his eligible years, decided to sign with a pro club in Mexico.
