Caguioa writes heartfelt Instagram post for longtime Ginebra partner Helterbrand

MANILA, Philippines — "The Fast and the Furious" era in Philippine basketball reached its conclusion.
 
Jayjay Helterbrand on Monday announced that he is calling it quits with after a 17-year PBA career. 
 
Of course, his backcourt partner for the longest time, Mark Caguioa, is one of the most affected with his departure.
 
Caguioa posted an Instagram post thanking and honoring Helterbrand.
 
"Alam ko hindi kayo mawawala, lahat tayo nalulungkot pero seryoso parang (may) namatay ang feeling ko," a part of his caption read.
 
 
Prior to winning the 2016 PBA Governor's Cup, Helterbrand and Caguioa were the last two remants of the 2008 championship team.
 
Helterbrand was supposed to retire last year but decided to suit up again with Ginebra, and the Gin Kings eventually bagged their second consecutive Governor's Cup title.
