Meralco acquires Ranidel De Ocampo in 3-way deal with TNT, Phoenix
MANILA, Philippines — Longtime Talk 'N text KaTropa Ranidel De Ocampo will find a new home with Meralco.
The league announced Monday a three-way deal that will give TNT room to improve their lineup via the Rookie Draft seven weeks from now.

Phoenix traded center Norbert Torres and a 2017 first round draft pick, which they acquired from San Miguel in a previous trade, for the veteran big man.
They then dealt De Ocampo to Meralco in exchange for Justin Chua and Meralco's 2017 first round draft pick.
The Fuelmasters completed the deal by sending Chua to TNT in exchange for a second round pick in the 2019 Rookie Draft.
De Ocampo is a five-time PBA champion and a two-time PBA Finals MVP. He averaged 12.6 points, 2.6 assists and 6.2 rebounds last year.
