LGBA holds 125-fight card in Pasay derby

MANILA, Philippines -  The Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association holds a huge 5-bullstag derby today with 125 fights on tap at Pasay City Cockpit.

The event, dubbed as the Northerners vs Southerners, serves as the third and final leg of the LGBA circuit with the individual and team champions to receive separate prizes, according to the group’s president Nick Crisostomo.

Also up for grabs is the 2017 LGBA Cocker of the Year trophy worth P500,000 from Sagupaan Complexor 3000.

The top 10 COTY contenders are Mel Lim, Dennis Reyes-Jimmy Junsay, Tony Aguinaldo, Rep. Patrick Antonio, Doc Ayong Lorenzo Dennis Sta. Maria, Rep. Larry Wacnang, Mamad Villaruio, Nestor Vendivil and Arman Santos-Raffy Campos-Edwin Aranez.
