10 aces clash for derby plum

MANILA, Philippines - Ten entries gear up for a fierce showdown for the Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association Cocker of the Year crown on Friday at Pasay City Cockpit.

The event is a five-bullstag derby (Northerners vs Southerners) with 125 fights supported by Sagupaan Complexor 3000.

Mel Lim (JMW Fighter) and Dennis Reyes/Jimmy Junsay (Team Jared) lead the COTY race with 11 points followed by Tony Aguinaldo (Grant Ultimate Rush, 10.5 points).

Rep. Patrick Antonio (Sagupaan Pasay Big Event May 5) is within striking distance with 10 points along with Doc Ayong Lorenzo (EDL Excellence) and Dennis Sta. Maria (Jolli Stars).
