Tough field up in Pasay derby
MANILA, Philippines - Big-time cockers gird up for another fierce battle when the Arbel sa Pasay 5-cock derby is held on Friday at Pasay City Cockpit.
Hosted by gamefowl handlers Arnold dela Cruz (AEJ Farms) and Beltran Soliguen, the event requires an entry fee of P33,000.
Dela Cruz and Soliguen are the top figures in such events like Pasay Big Event Derby, Araw ng Davao 6-cock Derby, World Slasher Cup, Bakbakan and Digmaan stag derbies, among others.
The event, backed by Sagupaan Complexor 3000, offers P1 million to the winners.
Meanwhile, other top derbies slated at PCC are the Virjun and Friends 4-cock event on March 20, the Pordaboys 4-cock of Tony Antonio on March 27, and the Supreme Cup 4-cock on March 31.
