9th Phoenix Open tees off tomorrow

MANILA, Philippines - The ninth Phoenix Open golf tournament gets going tomorrow with big prizes staked for hole-in-one feats at Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club in Davao.

A P1 million cash, a Mercedes-Benz A180, a Tata Motors Xenon 4x4 Premium, an Omega Speedmaster and P100,000 worth of Phoenix fuel cards will be up for grabs for aces in the 18-hole tournament .

To be raffled off are Macbook Air, iPhone, GoPro Hero 5 camera, LED TVs, home theater appliances and other latest gadgets.

Tournament winners will all receive Royal Selangor pewter plates and Phoenix fuel cards plus Phoenix signature bags.

Pledges for the ninth staging of the event will go to the Phoenix Philippines Foundation to support its four main advocacies in education, environment, health and outreach programs.
