Beech, Avena top Bato Cup

MANILA, Philippines - Ayi Beech took the low gross crown while Ivan Avena copped the low net plum in the first Bato Golf Cup at the Mt. Malarayat Golf and Country Club in Lipa City, Batangas recently.

Gerald Katigbak bagged the Class A crown, edging Teody Pascual and Elmer Gardiola, while Manolo Agojo bested Bong Agojo and Jess Bartolome for the Class B diadem in the two-day event held to raise funds for the projects and activities of Philippine National Police chief Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa.

Noli Alcantara, on the other hand, defeated Joseph Garcia and Cote Thor for the Class C title while Lito Magsino copped the Class D crown over Morell Manaig and Col. Ludy dela Paz.
